Together with release liners (see release liner labels), the coated papers for the labelling form a self-adhesive composite material. The label papers are the «upper» part of the composite. They are printed and boost the image of a brand. They are often found in the food, non-food and beverages sector, where this self-adhesive technology is used for product decoration.
