The “chain of custody” process guarantees that all FSC®-certified products contain cellulose from a controlled and certified source which has been handled and processed separately. Thanks to our high-performance SAP/MES system, we at the the Cham Paper Group are able to guarantee that incoming materials are kept separate from other products during the entire production process. This is because the paper we manufacture may only be labelled with the FSC® or Controlled Wood trademark if cellulose with the relevant certification (pure/mixed/controlled) is used and providing that all principles of the chain of custody are observed during the production process.
Before supply of the certified paper can be confirmed, it is absolutely essential – in each and every case – that the CPG company makes thorough checks to ensure that enough credit points for the FSC® or Controlled Wood seal of approval are available from initial receipt of the order right through to delivery.
