Since 2004, the Cham Paper Group has carried out regular «Lean Six Sigma Training» sessions and today has over 40 «Six Sigma Green Belts». These are specially trained members of staff who, in addition to the training sessions, also implement specific improvement projects within the company. Today, many of them are responsible for managerial responsibilities in various areas.
Six Sigma is a quality management method designed to optimise the entire range of a company’s processes. The main focus is on fulfilling customer requirements as determined by the Voice of Customer approach. DMAIC is the most frequently used Six Sigma project methodology and has five phases: Define – Measure – Analyse – Improve – Control.
