When purchasing materials, the company deals exclusively with pulp suppliers who maintain registered and certified commercial woodlands to ensure that the use of these resources is sustainable. In the northern hemisphere, where the Cham Paper Group sources most of its primary source pulp, the tree population actually increases by 5% annually. Internal working groups continuously review manufacturing processes in order to save energy and wastewater. Every five years, the Cham Paper Group sets itself ambitious new goals and commits itself to achieving more in the interest of the environment.
