The innerliner products of the Cham Paper Group are papers for packaging cigarettes that come into direct contact with the cigarettes. Innerliner papers are generally coated, metallised and/or gravure printed. On the packaging lines, the innerliner is used to transfer the cigarettes to the boxes – particularly on high-speed lines. The innerliner then protects the product inside the packaging.
